Welcome to Alias Section S

Together for the students at the Department of Social Work

The Alias Section S is the official representative body for students in the Department of Social Work. As a link between students and the university, we are actively committed to representing their concerns and promoting dialogue. Our aim is to continuously develop the degree programme and to strengthen the sense of community within the degree programmes through events.

We would like to remind you that Planet S is a useful and clearly organised news platform for all Bachelor’s and Master’s students of social work.

On Planet S you will find everything – from interesting news to individual job advertisements and exciting surveys that are relevant to everyday student life.

plagiarism detection

From the spring semester of 2022, Bachelor’s and Master’s theses in the Department of Social Work will initially be systematically checked using plagiarism detection software.

Systematic checking ensures the quality of qualification theses in the long term and also protects both students and supervisors from legal consequences as a result of plagiarism. Furthermore, the systematic examination per se ensures equal treatment of all students.

The department reserves the right to check other written certificates of achievement for plagiarism at a later date.
