OUR INTERSECTIONS
Q+ is part of the Diversity Commission and is committed to the equality and visibility of queer students and employees at the ZHAW.
We promote dialogue, education and a queer-friendly university culture.
FINTA (women, inter, non-binary, trans, agender people)
Raising awareness of queer-feminist issues in everyday university life and society – creating a safe space for FINTA people at the university – exchange, support and joint fight for equal rights.
The newly founded BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Colour) intersection is there to address the concerns of students who belong to a group that may be affected by racial discrimination. For example, university content that is discriminatory or stereotyping is discussed. Networking, awareness-raising and education should take place within the intersection, the students and also internal ZHAW departments such as the Diversity Office.
